The Recover Program offers support to those in recovery from addiction and trauma with sessions led by Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Robert DiRoma Jr. Whether you have been in recovery for multiple years or are newly sober and clean, this experience provides an opportunity to strengthen your recovery program. Gain life-long tools from equine-facilitated emotional experiences.

The community and relationship horses have with their herd greatly influence their survival. If you want to gain the tools that will strengthen your relationships, this program will help. Designed for couples, families and the workplace, these sessions will promote harmony, empathy and productive boundaries.

Lead

The Leadership and Team Building offers two levels of support – a less intensive learning component of one four-hour session, and a more robust educational experience of four three-hour sessions.

Both components foster camaraderie, teach emotional awareness, and help participants process emotions with horses acting as mirrors whether for corporate and workplace teambuilding and leadership, sports teams or as maturing adults. During these sessions, participants engage in fun, collaborative exercises with each other and the horses in a unique environment that will offer a refreshing change from everyday workplaces and classroom environments

The program teaches essential leadership skills through horse interactions and classroom discussion, including staying present in the moment, active listening to others to understand and not to reply, adaptability to new environments, collaborating humans and animals, setting boundaries, and an introduction to the information behind emotions to develop emotional intelligence.

The program offers various equine experiences, including exercises that develop self-confidence and awareness, empathy, resonance, flexibility and connective skills through grooming, leading, obstacles, and liberty works.

The educational components include a classroom curriculum that focuses on developing greater emotional agility, intelligence and self-awareness while processing emotions to positively impact family, work, and peer relationships.

This program is designed for individuals aged 15 and older, regardless of prior horse experience. All activities occur on the ground, ensuring a safe and enriching learning environment.
